Youth Literacies Conference 2009

HIPY have pleasure in inviting you to their annual Youth Literacies Conference, rescheduled from May 2009. The focus of this year’s Conference is on ‘What’s out there’, in terms of Youth Literacies services, programmes and resources. This free event will be held in Hamilton Universal Connections on Thursday 22nd October 2009, 11am – 3pm. There will be a series of innovative workshops looking at imaginative uses of Youth literacies in Youth work, including ICT uses in literacies, critical literacy, and creative literacies.

National Conversation comes to Hamilton

Compact Launch

also included in this conference is the launch of the Infobase project This project is to develop a comprehensive database for the community and voluntary sector across South Lanarkshire
