The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations in partnership with the Carnegie UK Trust is holding two seminars to present the new report, ‘Climate Change and resource scarcity: a guide for non-environmental groups’ by Tony Kendle (Eden Project) for the Carnegie UK Trust. The aim is to raise awareness of the social challenges presented by climate change, the implications these will have, and the need for organisations across civil society to respond.
Many organisations working in local communities across Scotland know there is a problem but don't know what to do next. The seminars are aimed at representatives of non-environmental organisations who are well-positioned to lead on addressing climate change within their own organisations, as well as to take forward the debate to a wider audience.
