 Dr John Brain

John was General Manager of the National Engineering Laboratory in East Kilbride. andstill undertakes some consultancy work for AEA, Harwell.Throughout his career he feels he has gained much from the community and would now like to put something back by assisting Voluntary Sector Organisations in Hamilton and East Kilbride

 

Jack Feguson

Currently he is serving as a Director member of Community Links (South Lanarkshire), an original member in 2002, and again in 2005 to the present day. He is also a Director of ‘Up for It?’ Healthy Lifestyles, Chairperson of the Hamilton locality Public Partnership Forum (PPF) for NHS, a Bowel Cancer Awareness Co-Ordinator, a member of the ‘Friends of Glenlee & Udston Woodlands’ group, a member of Philips Pensioner’s Club, and more recently was elected as a Director on the Board of CVS HEK

 

 James Morrison

Jim was a board member of East Kilbride VCS and when East Kilbride and Hamilton Merged he became a board member of CVSHEK. He is also the treasurer of the East Kilbride visually impaired group and president of O.R. for the West of Scotland

 

 Ron Hardy

Ron has been involved with the voluntarysector for 40+ yearsand is celebrating 15 years as chairperson of the Larkhall  Volunteer Group Ron has been a senior NCOi n the Royal Navy submaine service,Manager of the Glacier Metal Co. ,Production Manger Polaroid Corp.,General Manger Royal Strathclyde Blindcraft Ind  

 

 Bill Craw

Bill has spent the best part of thirty years in different countries in Africa. The second half of his Africa ‘safari’ was with the United Nations, advising governments on providing support services for small farmers – mainly through agricultural co-operatives. He returned to his home area in 1986 to be director of an enterprise trust, advising small/medium size business. Before taking an active part in voluntary sector support in South Lanarkshire, Bill managed a large, EU-funded rural development project in Poland for three years.
